Forma Film Black is a high-performance formwork plywood designed for projects where maximum reuse, clean concrete finish, and visual contrast matter.

Built on a Birch Exterior plywood core, it is overlaid with a high-density black phenolic film that delivers exceptional resistance to abrasion, moisture, concrete adhesion, and chemical exposure.

Available film options:

  • 120/120 g/m² black film – engineered for 50+ reuses, exceeding the lifespan of standard film-faced plywood.
  • 220/220 g/m² black film – designed for up to 75 reuses, maintaining a smooth, uniform concrete finish across repeated pours.

The black surface enhances visual inspection on site, making wear, residue, and defects easier to identify during reuse cycles.

Bonded with WBP (exterior-grade) glue, the plywood core offers outstanding resistance to water, mold, and harsh jobsite conditions, while meeting E1 and EPA TSCA Title VI formaldehyde standards.

All edges are sealed with water-resistant acrylic paint to prevent moisture ingress and extend service life.
